How To Enroll
How Do I Register For Classes?
1. Attend program orientation. Orientation is held each Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. in our multi-purpose room.
2. Take entrance assessment. Assessments are given each Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at our facililty. Results are propvided immediately upon completion. Assessment score requirements are listed below by program.
3. Attend Enrollment Counseling. Enrollment counseling is provided on Wednesday in the Career Center, Room 106. We counsel students on a walk-in basis during the hours of 9:00-10:45 and 1:00-3:00. In this session, you will speak with one of our career counselors to review your assessment scores, finanical aid options, and your program of interest. It is required you take an entrance assessment prior to attending a counseling session

General Registration Information
A variety of vocational programs are available to learn job skills for employment opportunities. Students may begin classes throughout the year on a scheduled basis as space is available. Interested persons should thoroughly study this website to learn about their program of interest. The Charles Jones Career & Education Center reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Books and additional supplies or equipment are not included in the material fees. Material fees and book prices are subject to change.
The Charles Jones Career & Education Center offers vocational training programs approved by the Department of Veteran's Affairs for Veteran's Education Benefits. Financial Aid (Pell Grant) is available for those students who meet Federal guidelines. The Charles Jones Career & Education Center partners with a number of social service agencies, including the Department of Human Assistance, Sacramento Employment & Training Agency, Veteran's Administration, Employment Development Department, One-Stop Career Center, Job Corps, Asian Resources, Bach Viet, California Indian Manpower Consortium, the National Guard, and many others.
